Living Vicariously As A Peripatetic Shutterbug

{ More musings from the Cantankerous Old Mule }

About

If you stumbled across here by mistake you may be asking yourself where I came up with the name for this blog. Well, it’s simple, it’s who I am: a guy who enjoys photography, and who has travelled extensively assisting churches around the world – therefore the “peripatetic” in the title.

I have had three previous blogs, which you might like to browse to get to know me a bit better.

The first, and most amusing (in my opinion) was Madder in Mada, written when I lived in Madagascar a few years back. I taught in a Christian school and served in the church for around two years, before I was forced to leave after falling ill. It turns out I had mould growing in my lungs, and that lungs work better without mould in them.

Next, I wrote Rambling with a Cantankerous Old Mule, while back in South Africa. During this time my lungs kicked out the gunk, slowly rumbled back to life and I found myself working for Nikon South Africa, where I really developed my love of photography.

The next chapter of the adventure saw me move to a small town in British Columbia, Canada. I kept Perambulating in the People’s Republic of Canuckistan as a kind of online journal of my life in the new church and country.

And now, I find myself embarking on a new chapter of my life. Where it takes me is a complete mystery. But why don’t you come along for the ride?

    Hello fellow Canuck (I too am a former British Columbian)! Thanks for taking a look at Modes of Flight.

    All the best to you!

    Hi, I have been nominated in a challenge to post my three favorite quotes, one each for three consecutive days.

    With each post nominate three bloggers for the challenge.

    Recognize the blogger who nominated you.

    I have nominated you as one of the first bloggers I would love most to hear from. I hope you don’t mind and hope you have fun with it.
    Roy.

I'd love to hear from you, please leave a reply.
