Living Vicariously As A Peripatetic Shutterbug

It’s not all doom and gloom during the monsoon

The monsoon rains have definitely disrupted our scheduling but once a week we get a decent day. A few mornings back, after a night of heavy rain, I woke up to a view of the mountains from my bedroom window.

On arriving at the airport it looked as if the resident monkeys had received quite the drenching the previous night but they were out and about and in good spirits.

It was pretty wet out at the helipad but that made for some pretty cool photos too.

The weather remained pretty good and I got out on a pretty cool flight where I got to shoot the other helicopter (and the mountains) from the air.

I probably won’t fly again in my last week here, but it’s been pretty darn cool so far. Thanks for coming along with me for the ride!
