A blur of bicycles, tricycles, bikes and pousse-pousses

Last week I spent a few days in Antsirabe, the sleepy town 160km south of Antananarivo. Here pousse-pousses (rickshaws), bicycles and tricycles are as common as the old Renaults, Citroëns and Peugeots one finds in the island’s capital.

What denotes movement in photography better than panning? Nothing. (In my opinion!)

It wasn’t easy to freeze the subject while blurring the background, especially at midday, but I had fun playing, and finding beauty in the blur.

Fantastic photographs. Movement Blur and particularly panning are tough to nail but you have done really well in these images. Great work.
