Single snapshots: Crossed lines

Do you remember the days when you used to get crossed lines? You would be chatting to someone on the phone and you would hear someone else on your line? Or sometimes you would dial someone and get someone completely different?

I suspect that may still happen here in Tana quite often – judging by this scene. Imagine the training needed to work up a pole for Telma, the Malagasy telecoms company. A doctorate in electrical engineering, and a whole lot of patience, I’m sure.
